Since 1997, Florida Gulf Coast University's Institute for Technological Innovation (iTi) faculty and researchers have been developing online and mobile learning tools for delivering portable, high-demand career certification training and job preparation lessons and assessments to thousands of students and participants without the constraints of time and location.

iTi Coursewell initiative provides very low cost online and mobile video-training courses and program, unhindered by time, place, credits, grades or admission constraints! That is, participants don't have to be a registered FGCU-student to participate in these programs.

In addition, iTi provides no-cost (via federal grants and financial assistance) information technology, project management and healthcare careers to US military families around the World. Revenues generated from the low-cost offerings and federal/state grants are used to support iTi operations and hire developers, instructors and assistants.
